Supercross is back in a big way! The hype going into Anaheim 1 is like no other event all year. This year everyone expected James Stewart and Chad Reed to be up front battling for the win. But they run races for a reason...because anything can happen, and it usually does.
James Stewart was out to an early lead and battling with Chad Reed, just like everyone figured. Then out of nowhere both of them crashed hard, allowing Boost Mobile rider Josh Grant to pull into the lead. Steward was out of the race and Reed was stuck deep in the pack. From there the rookie Grant pulled a big lead and held off the likes of Andrew Short, Kevin Windham and Chad Reed on his way to his first 450 win. Congrats Josh!
