Alexis Waite
Over the past five years Alexis “Lexi” Waite has moved into the limelight as one of the top women in professional snowboarding. She has pushed herself, and ultimately women’s snowboarding, to new levels. A main player in the recent women’s video movement, Lexi started her on-film forte with parts in Misschief Films’ two movies—the 2005 release “As If…” and ’06 flick “Ro Sham Bo”. Last season she doubled her efforts working on both Runway Films’ debut movie “La La Land” along with her sponsor Roxy’s first ever all women’s ski and snowboard film.
This winter Lexi has found herself traveling to exotic destinations including Kaprun, Austria; Laax Switzerland; Arlberg, Austria; and back to the U.S. again. While her main focus continues to be filming, Lexi somehow found the time to compete in some key slopestyle events including the Winter X Games, both Roxy Chicken jams, the European Open, and the Vans Tahoe Cup. Though she loves traveling, Lexi enjoys her time at home in Salt Lake where she focuses on her health with acupuncture and massage, all to overcome the abuse she puts her body through to stay at the top of her game.

FAVORITE ARTIST: hmmm, so many… but some are Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss (artist of style), Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nelly Furtado, Johnny Depp… these just came to mind.
FAVORITE DELI SANDWICH: Swiss/Austrian breakfast sandwiches… if only they were warmed and with avocado, then they would be unstoppable. Such quality ingredients,that is key!
BEST SONG TO RIDE TO: today Benassi Bros. “Feel Alive” yeah its techno, I’m in Europe right now and it gets you amped! haha

TOP 3 FAVORITE MOVIES:
UNDERWEAR OR NO UNDERWEAR? I go back and forth, I always snowboard with underwear but I never sleep with it, that just is no good. Underwear has its time and place but it is not for when you are at home.
SKY MILES OR HOTEL POINTS? Sky Miles for sure! I try to stay with friends at their homes whenever possible.
BEST VACATION SPOT: Bali is pretty good but I want to try the surf in South America soon too!
WHO WOULD YOU RATHER ARMWRESTLE? HULK HOGAN OR MR T? Mr T is way cooler, so him. I have no desire to meet Hulk Hogan but Mr T at least has good style!
WHO WOULD YOU RATHER PARTY WITH? BRITNEY SPEARS OR PARIS HILTON? Man this is tough, they both totally suck! I think my brain would melt if I had to hang out with either of them… But I’m going to say Paris, I’d rather meet someone who can make something out of nothing than someone who had “it all” and is blowing it to extents I never thought possible, what a trainwreck, such an idiot!
WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE HOT SAUCE IN YOUR EYE OR DRINK URINE? Hot sauce in my eye for sure, it sucks, it happened before but I have never drank any urine that I was aware of and I really don’t like to puke and I know gagging would be the end result
